What should your social media bio photo look like?

Your bio photo should tell YOUR story, and be as perfect as you can in terms of size, pixels, and background for the platform. Just keep it focused on your story-focused.

The following is an extract from Dear Mishu Dad's  “How to Transform Your Social Media Branded Profile to a Sales Funnel Machine" presented at Mobile Growth Virtual Summit 3.0, etc. 

When it comes to your bio photo, make sure that it is telling YOUR story. For example – see below – her account is all about rosé wine. So she’s holding a glass of rosé wine in her photo (and her hashtags & everything else are all about rosé wine):

A good example of consistency in story telling is this Rose Wine story... it's everywhere, and that's how it should be (no one will confuse Sarah with Cab wine tasting, right...?)

Then – of course – I’m sure you’ve heard this before – try to use the perfect size & pixels, perfect background, perfect everything for the platform.

Signing a Contract with a Social Media Influencer as Part of Your Marketing Strategy

You’ve got to be very strategic and plan well when it comes to influencer marketing, so all moving parts, as well as objectives, will work. Drafting a well-written and updated influencer contract or SMI* contract) is a great tool to achieve exactly that.

Why Should You Sign an Influencer Contract?

The prime reason for signing a Brand-Influencer Contract is not to eliminate suspicion between potential partners. Rather, the goal is to make everything (or at least as much as possible) CLEAR between the brand and the SMI.

The contract will also help you with influencer campaign planning and execution. Most steps and moves for the campaign should be included. Using a contract template, all you need to do is to associate people and dates to the various action items and goals.

So far I explained how to find unique ways to accomplish YOUR** branding through underutilized areas of your social media profile: via story-telling through your profile photos, extended name, profile description, hashtags, the use of SMI (Social Media influencers), and even a URL in the profile. Today I will explain how to do so via what I call the “update line.”

1. Update Line?

When I say “update line” I refer to a line – you know – a sentence – where you update your audience with something that is relevant, timely, and now. For example, if you are building a community around iPhone X120 model, then use an update such as “I will release my new space shuttelite USB for X120 review on Dec 1st” or if you own a coffee shop that is trying build excitement for a new plum-based latte, announce it using the update line when it’s ready: ✨💜 The Plum Latte is here! 💜✨
